Have you ever seen perfect circles on someone’s back that look like bruises? This technique uses suction cups to create negative pressure on the skin, promoting blood flow and easing muscle tension. Cupping therapy can be beneficial for pain relief and enhancing recovery. It also feels amazing!

You may recognize this traditional Chinese medicine practice emerging on Youtube as a beauty fad. Gua Sha involves “scraping” the skin with a smooth tool (often made of jade) to improve circulation and relieve muscle tightness. It’s more targeted than cupping.
