Make Your Own Yule Log

Join us for a hands-on art class where we’ll each craft our own Yule Log — a timeless symbol of renewal, light, & connection to the rhythms of the Earth. Hosted by a Adam, a Norse-Pagan practitioner (& regular at Moonsteeped, lucky for us), this workshop goes beyond the craft — it’s a reflective journey through ancient traditions & spiritual practices associated with the Winter Solstice.

This class offers a space for quiet contemplation, ritual, & creative expression. Whether you wish to invoke blessings for the coming year, release the past, or simply connect more deeply to the spirit of the season, crafting your Yule Log will serve as both a potent ritual & a meaningful decoration for your home.

This class has 8 spots remaining and will sell out. Reserve your spot by sending me a message or emailing moonsteeped@gmail.com and let us know if you're bringing your own log or will be using one provided by Adam.

Art Class: Create & Connect -- Hand-Sewn Notebook Workshop ($20-30)

Directly after our Outdoor Tea Social next week at Webster Park (12-2 PM or until we get too cold), Ciel will be teaching us how to make these gorgeous hand-sewn notebooks!!! You can gift them for the holidays or keep for yourself(; She's done the more tedious first steps of the process so that we can each complete a notebook by the end of the session. Supplies are included

This workshop is offered on a sliding scale from $20-30 but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Registration is required as there are limited spots & limited supplies that Ciel will be preparing.& providing for us. 8 spots are open

Ciel, the creator of Dreamscape Designs, is a passionate artist and maker who loves sharing her craft with others. She began her journey into notebook-making a year and a half ago, driven by curiosity and a desire to create something uniquely her own. Now, she's excited to teach the basics of this fulfilling art form and empower others to take their first steps into handmade craftsmanship. Outside of crafting, Ciel is the program manager for Food AND Medicine, a grassroots non-profit dedicated to education, empowerment, and community building.

I’ll be set up 12 - 2 PM or until we get too cold. Totally free — just bring yourself (& a snack if you want) but bundle up!

Evening with a Pagan: What is Yule?

As the longest night of the year approaches, come gather to learn & celebrate the ancient traditions of Yule, with Adam, a practicing Norse-Pagan (& exceptionally lovely human) in our community

Yule marks the time of the year when the sun begins to return to us. This imagery invokes a hopeful light as we embark into a cold & dark time of year. Adam will guide us in an exploration of the history, customs, and spirit of Yule. Besides being a celebration of the return of the sun as well as an educational offering, this event is also meant to encourage reflection, so feel free to bring a journal
